Kebijakan Pemerintah Dalam Mencegah Pembalakan Liar dan Melestarikan Taman Buru Ko’mara di Kabupaten Jeneponto

Abstract

This research aims to determine government policy in preventing and preserving the protected forest of Buru Ko'mara Park. This research uses qualitative methods and the research data was obtained through interviews and observations with certain informants who are expected to provide the required information. From the research results, it was found that there are several government policies that have been implemented to prevent illegal logging and preserve the Buru Ko'mara park, namely by carrying out prevention in the form of outreach to the community. It is hoped that this outreach can provide awareness to the community and carry out planning and handling in the form of monitoring and planting thousands of tree seedlings to restore the function of damaged forests. Apart from that, the government has also collaborated between agencies to increase supervision and preservation of Buru Ko'mara Park
